Role Overview
We are looking for a driven and ambitious process quality engineer to join our production and manufacturing function. The successful candidate will be a key part of our growth and will report directly to the General Manager.
The role will involve developing, testing, implementation, analysing, assessing and updating the production processes. This will include but is not exclusive to audits (defining audits), data analysis, training, reviewing suppliers, reporting on improvement plans and initiatives with clear impact on cost savings. As well as linking into schedules and company plans for delivery – knowing when to implement improvements and the impact to business is key.
Essential requirements:
- Experience in lean and problem-solving tools – 8D, DAMIC, PDCA etc.
- Experience in statistics and data analysis – Lean Six sigma, green or black belt, simulation
- Experience of working in production environments, taking products from NPI/NPD into production and then working in production
- Experience in process development and a track record of improving processes to high yields and OEE
- Experience in standardisation
- of personal accountability and ownership, to effectively deliver on challenging and ambitious targets
- Strong presentation (both of technical solutions and data) and reporting skills
- Ability to focus on detail to fully understand issues and drive improvement
Beneficial requirements:
- 5 or more years relevant industry experience
- Experience in production environment
- Qualification in Lean techniques
- Green or Black belt
- Ability to identify, contain, remove problems

- Improvements to process to remove waste and continually improve/maintain yield and OEE
- Dfx
- Data analysis
- Running and owning key improvement projects and initiatives
- Audits of process
- Reporting on cost saving/avoidance
