We are the first company in the world to sell an off the shelf product manufactured using metal Additive Manufacturing. As we continue to scale our production output, the successful candidate will join our AM team printing volume production hydraulic components.  

These high-quality printed components will be post-processed and supplied to the rest of the manufacturing team for machining operations. Your role will involve AM machine preparation, print post-processing, machine maintenance and specimen material testing. Working alongside the rest of the team, you will have the opportunity to learn about our products and the processes we use to manufacture our components.

This role will be during the day shift which runs Mon-Thu 07:30-16:00 and Fri 07:30-13:30. There may also be opportunities for overtime paid at a premium.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining a safe working environment
  • Setting and operating AM machines
  • Powder management, such as depowdering, sieving and batch control
  • Ensuring dimensional accuracy of builds through inspection and offsets
  • Carrying out regular machine maintenance
  • Post-processing of AM build plates, including the use of bandsaw, sandblaster, furnace and laser marker
  • Monitoring and control of inventory levels for powder, build plates and other materials
  • Carrying out specimen material testing and presenting material testing data
  • Improving processes to increase efficiencies in production
  • Interacting with MRP system and capturing data to pass on to subsequent operations

Essential Requirements:

  • 2 or more years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Great computer literacy
  • Strong adherence to Health and Safety Policies
  • Good time management skills
  • Able to use and demonstrate the use of gauges and lineside measurement equipment

Beneficial Requirements:

  • Experience setting and operating AM machines
  • Build plate preparation through Magics and QuantAM
  • Operated industrial machinery such as a bandsaw, sandblaster, furnace and laser marker
  • Experience using MRP or ERP
