Your team will be responsible for test and validation of our Servo Valve products and will prepare and carry out test plans against customer and internal requirements. You will leverage real-time data acquisition and analysis from industry leading test rigs and our inhouse software ecosystem to ensure our products remain the go-to choice for performance applications. You will work cross functionally within the business, with opportunities to make a real difference from early-stage R&D through to Production and after-sales support.
Your will also be responsible for the assembly, test, and delivery of low volume customer prototypes. Our ability to deliver fast turnaround variations specifically adapted to our customers needs is critical to our ability to win new customers and identify new market opportunities.

- The ability to grow and manage a high-performing Validation team.
- A strong technical background with the ability to design and carry out Validation testing for electromechanical products.
- Great technical leadership skills and an ability to lead teams to test and deliver high quality products and technologies.
- Get hands on with our Servo Valves products and become a technical expert in a market leading product line.
- Drive product improvements by going deep with data analysis, utilising cutting-edge digital tools and solid engineering analysis.
- Lead the design and implementation of test plans, working with the digital and rig design teams to deliver testing using existing and new test rig hardware and software.
- Lead and manage a team of engineers and technicians dedicated to product validation for servo valves.
- Recruit, onboard, and mentor new team members to maintain a highly skilled and motivated workforce.
- Conduct regular 1-2-1s, performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Prioritize and manage the team’s workload, adjusting resources as needed to meet project goals and deadlines.
- Maintain a high standard of work quality within the team, ensuring compliance with internal and customer requirements.
- Spearhead the identification and implementation of new tools, equipment, and methodologies to enhance the product validation process.
- Act as a point of contact for technical inquiries from both internal and external parties, demonstrating deep expertise in valve product Validation.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, ensuring our Validation processes remain at the forefront of technology.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in product Validation, preferably in the hydraulics, fluid dynamics, or related industries.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in managing and developing technical teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in relevant tools and software used in product validation and engineering analysis.
- In-depth knowledge of servo valve technology, hydraulic systems, and associated testing methodologies is a plus.
- Project management or technical lead experience and a track record of delivering results on time and within budget.
- A passion for innovation and continuous improvement, with a proactive approach to identifying and implementing process enhancements.
- Programming and data analysis using Python.
