Since the grand opening of the Domin Technology Centre (DTC) in 2023, production of our innovative products has gone from strength to strength. With the rapid growth of Domin and a roadmap for scalable production becoming clearer, we have been utilising the DTC to really invest in machines and technology that can provide us with the tools we need to continue to transform motion control.
We are thrilled to announce the latest milestone in our efforts to transform motion control and scale up our production of hydraulic systems. The installation of a cutting-edge milling machine marks a pivotal moment in our machining strategy, and means we are now scaling up and producing more revolutionary Domin products.
State-of-the-art Milling Machine
As part of Domin’s stringent and high standards, we’ve chosen to work with Quaser, a globally renowned machine manufacturer praised for their exceptional build quality.
The Quaser HX504 milling machine, a twin-pallet, four-axis horizontal mill, has been installed at the Domin Technology Centre in Bristol, UK. This machine is celebrated for its unsurpassed productivity and ultimate precision.
The addition of this state-of-the-art milling machine marks a significant leap forward for Domin, allowing us to increase production and reduce lead times of our high-performance servo valves. It also paves the way for the development of new production lines, so that we can continue in our ongoing commitment to innovate and transform motion control.
One of Many Milestones
This milestone in just the latest of a series of advancements at the Domin Technology Centre. Since its inauguration in 2023, we have progressed leaps and bounds, including the establishment of in-house powder extraction capabilities and a partnership with Renishaw, a world leader in 3D printing solutions, to install the RenAM 500Q system.
As we continue to push innovation and the future of hydraulics, we remain dedicated to transforming motion control, and improving the way we work by investing in and developing the best technology and processes.
“This is just the latest in a series of developments in our scaling production plan. Seeing us take this extra step forward is really exciting, and as we continue to invest in the best technology, we will continue to take these steps.
“We will continue to push the boundaries of what is possible, as we always have done, and I look forward to sharing the next development for Domin.”
