We are looking for a driven and self-motivated sales manager to sell our revolutionary valves. The successful candidate will be a key part of our transition from our start-up phase to our scale up phase and will report directly to the CEO. 

The Sales Manager will be responsible for delivering against new business targets as well as driving growth in customer accounts. The Sales Manager will be expected to develop their own pipe in addition to manage existing and inbound opportunities.  They will be responsible for delivering on ambitious targets, supported by a world class engineering team. 

The role will require the individual to manage both external and internal stakeholders in the driver to deliver world class technology with world class customer service. You will need to be a proactive self starting technically led sales person with a drive for growth and success.

Essential requirements:

  • Technical background with commercial experience
  • Leadership approach to selling. Able to pull in the right people in at the right time
  • Hungry hunter with a proven ability to generate and convert new leads
  • Technology literate with the ability to learn and understand the valve technology
  • Flexible. Domin is growing and therefor ever changing. This will excite you.
  • Strong IT and business processes skills
  • Strong presentation, written and relational skills
  • Bristol based, or willing to relocate

      Beneficial requirements:

      • 5 or more years of sales experience
      • Engineering background
      • Experience selling internationally 
      • Experience in the hydraulics industry
      • HubSpot fluent
      • Fluent in another language besides English

        Key responsibilities:

        • Grow, manage and develop sales with new customers throughout the world
        • Deliver on aggressive sales targets to create value and deliver impact
        • Work with internal resources to win business
        • Manager internal team to deliver products on time to customers
        • Manage customers to promote Domin's brand value of world class customer service.
        • Input clean and accurate data into the CRM (Hubspot) in a timely fashion
        • Develop and maintain accurate sales forecast

        Additional responsibilities:

        • Prepare market research on target sectors and products
        • Define and uphold best practices in sales
        • Collaborate with peers across different teams to explore new opportunities and develop innovative solutions.
        • Mentor junior team members and contribute to their commercial development.
        • Assist with future recruitment and conduct interviews.
